What you'll need to get started

  • A Lucky Mobile physical SIM Card or EID number (for eSIM activations). The 32-digit EID number can be found in your device settings.Want to purchase a SIM Card? Find a store or buy a SIM card online
  • An unlocked phone that is compatible with our network. Most phones are!
  • Account information from your current Canadian mobile provider if you are switching to Lucky Mobile and want to keep your Canadian phone number.
  • Credit card or bank account information if you wish to sign up for Automatic or Express Top-Up.

Where can I find the IMEI number?

IMEI number

You can display the IMEI and IMEI2 on your screen by dialing *#06#. The IMEI or IMEI2 number (15 digits) can also be found in your device settings.

For Google Pixel devices, use the following instructions to find the IMEI and IMEI2:

  1. Open settings app
  2. Tap "Network and internet"
  3. Tap "+" beside "Mobile Network"
  4. Tap "Download a SIM instead?"
  5. Tap "Yes" to enable Dual SIM mode
  6. Go to "About phone" in the settings app and find "IMEI (sim slot 2)"

You may receive an SMS within the next few business days from your current service provider to validate the transfer so we can start the process.
You must validate the transfer within 90 minutes of receiving the SMS, by replying with a YES. If you reply with a NO or do not respond, the number transfer and this order will be cancelled.
